The man accused of killing his mother in Deep River, Conn., on Thursday, disemboweled her, according to a police report.

Troopers responded to a home at 131 Rattling Valley Road around 1 p.m. Thursday after receiving a 911 call from the victim’s ex-husband.

Robert Owen Rankin, the victim’s 22-year-old son, was arrested and charged with murder. Rankin and his father were outside the house when police arrived.

On Friday, state police identified the victim as 45-year-old Margaret Rohner.

According to court documents, Rankin admitted the crime to his father and then to the first state police trooper who arrived on the scene.

“I used the knife to kill my mother,” Rankin told the trooper after the trooper asked if he had any weapons on him. “I killed my mother because she is pretty much responsible for everything that has gone wrong in my life,” he allegedly told the trooper.

Rankin continued to tell the trooper in detail what he had allegedly done to his mother.

He said he woke up in the morning with a plan to snap his mother’s neck to kill her, but when that didn’t work, he stabbed her in the neck with a fire poker, according to the police report.

When Rankin saw she was still alive, he told police he took his clothes off to “gain additional strength,” in his words.

He then used a buck knife to stab his mother in the belly button, the court documents show. Rankin said he was looking for a baby but couldn’t find one in her stomach, he allegedly told police.

He told investigators he cleaned up, took a shower and decided to take his dog for a walk. It was then that he saw his father and allegedly admitted to the crime.

A despondent young couple, under pressure to break off their romance, instead chose suicide in front of a speeding LIRR train — leaving behind a multipage note that said they were going to a better place, sources told The Post yesterday.

“Two great people” are going to “paradise,” they wrote in a blue stenographer’s pad that was found on the Hollis, Queens, platform after their death leap Monday night.

“Everything will be good,” the note said.

Davon Smallwood, 25, and Ariana O’Neal, 21 — whose mother disapproved of their relationship — lived in Queens Village with their 2-year-old daughter.

In addition to the note, the tragic couple also left behind a black garbage bag stuffed with clothing, a bottle of Gorgi vodka and a can of Coca-Cola.

The young lovers had no IDs, and cops had to run their fingerprints to get their names. Most of their suicide note was in “illegible gibberish,” the sources said.

O’Neal recently ran away because her mother demanded she no longer bring Smallwood to the house, police sources said.

The mom was upset over his recent trouble with the law.“Her mom didn’t want the boyfriend living with all of them,” her landlord, Kinsley Senior, said last night. “She didn’t like him.”

A 17-year-old high school baseball star has been charged with murder after beating his mother with a bat then viciously hacking her to death on Christmas Eve, police say.

Police found Sharon Hill Aydelott in a pool of blood at her home in Gulf Breeze, Florida, with her throat slashed and a large kitchen knife sticking out of her eye socket about 6pm Tuesday.

Her son, William Brandon Aydelott, a promising pitcher on the Gulf Breeze High School baseball team, was arrested and confessed to killing her after a heated argument, authorities say.

Ms Aydelott was found dead in her home after a friend stopped by to check on her, the Northwest Florida Daily News reports.

Brandon had been staying at a friend’s house on-and-off since September because of a rocky relationship between mother and son, police say.

Detectives say that after the murder, he fled the home and went back to the house where he had been staying.

Police tracked Brandon back to the friend’s home about three hours after finding the gruesome murder scene.

After police took Brandon into custody, he coldly admitted to brutally slaughtering his mother.

Detectives say he even smiled slightly as he confessed to the horrific crime.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound teen described in detail how he repeatedly smashed his mother with a baseball bat.

He then attacked her with a large kitchen knife, slashing her multiple times and cutting her throat before driving the blade through her eye.

Detectives say he was wearing clean clothes. The found only a small splotch of dried blood on his wrist.

Brandon Aydelott, a right-handed pitcher with a hard 80mph fastball, was being scouted by college baseball teams – including, possibly, the University of Alabama.

A prominent New Jersey doctor well known for taking in foster kids was rocked by an unthinkable horror — when one of his adopted children allegedly stabbed another to death in their home.

“Rest peacefully, angel,” Dr. Robert Gallo wrote on his Facebook page with a picture of his daughter Teia, 20.

Her foster brother, Travis Gallo, 17, allegedly stabbed her repeatedly with a kitchen knife at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in front of two other siblings at their Washington Township home, sources said.

Their brother called 911, while another sister fled the home with no shoes on, sources said.

“You could hear people screaming,” a neighbor said. “It was a nightmare.”

Teia and Travis had both been adopted by Gallo, an OB-GYN, as children. The patriarch also adopted Teia’s biological sister, Destiny, and has nine kids of his own.

“He snapped,” Gallo said. “We still have a lot of unanswered questions.”

The big-hearted doctor took Travis in at age 3 for what was supposed to be a temporary arrangement until he could find the tot a permanent home.

But Gallo grew attached to the boy and decided to keep him permanently.

A wild flash mob stormed and trashed a Brooklyn mall, causing so much chaos that the shopping center was forced to close during post-Christmas sales, sources said Friday.

More than 400 crazed teens — who mistakenly thought the rapper Fabolous would perform — erupted into brawls all over Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin on Thursday at 5 p.m., sources said.

The troublemakers looted and ransacked several stores as panicked shoppers ran for the exits and clerks scrambled to pull down metal gates.

“I was begging them to stop. There were a lot of kids, hundreds of kids . . . [Security] would chase them out one door and they would come back in another door,” said Abu Taleb, 31, a clerk at the kiosk Candy Plaza 2. “I’ve been here seven years, and I have never seen anything like this before.”

Some of the teens staged a game of “knockout” on the top floor — and one may have been carrying a gun, sources said.

“They were playing the ‘knockout’ game,” said Shante, a 21-year-old perfume merchant, in reference to a violent trend in which teens try to knock out an unsuspecting victim with a single punch.

Two more women have testified that Roger Allen Stulce Jr. forced them to have anal sex multiple times despite their pleas that he stop.

One woman testified that she was sexually assaulted by Stulce in 2008 in McKinney and that he attempted to assault her again in 2009 while she was living in California. The 39-year-old woman said she was afraid of Stulce and sought help from police. She was eventually granted a 10-year restraining order while Stulce served jail time in California. She testified that she was unsure what his charge was.

A second woman testified that she met Stulce through a free online dating site called Plenty of Fish. They chatted over the phone, through texts and online for several weeks before deciding to meet in person.

The woman testified that they met one afternoon in December 2011 at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and then went out to eat at an Italian diner in McKinney. After that, Stulce invited her back to his McKinney apartment. They picked up two horror movies from Red Box.

She said they started making out and moved into the bedroom. There, she testified, he became forceful. “I said, ‘No, no no, stop, you’re hurting me.” She said he responded, saying, “Just be a good little girl and relax.”

The woman said she bit the pillow and cried until it was over. He told her to take a shower. Afterward, he forced her again to have sex, she said. She took another shower. He then showered and took her to the movie theater to see Breaking Dawn: Part 1. He paid for the movie as well as drinks and popcorn, she said.

“I was intimidated,” the woman testified, explaining why she sat through the movie with Stulce and didn’t seek help. “I wasn’t sure what happened to me. I felt overpowered, dominated.”

After the movie, Stulce dropped her off near her home. She said they talked by phone two or three times after that but she never saw him again. She didn’t tell anyone what happened. She said she didn’t go to police until she learned about his arrest last year on the news.

McKinney Police Detective Teresa Lynch testified that she went undercover in March 2012 after police received a complaint about Roger Allen Stulce Jr.

Lynch said she responded to a Craigslist ad about an apartment for rent. She met Stulce at his apartment and discussed terms. She told him she couldn’t afford the $725 a month in rent and said she’d have to try to come up with the money.

They met again the next day, and Lynch testified that she wore a wire with an audio feed as Stulce offered her a deal. She testified that he told her that she could have sex with him for a down payment and then give him oral sex every month. Lynch said she gave her code word and other detectives arrived. Stulce was arrested on a charge of promotion of prostitution. That charge was later dropped by the district attorney’s office.
