The UK-based HSBC bank’s chief executive Stuart Gulliver was found to have stashed $7.6 million in offshore finances through a Swiss private bank, the Guardian reported Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier this month, leaked documents revealed that more than 100,000 of HSBC’s clients, including international criminals, concealed under the bank’s advice over $120 billion in finances and assets in its Swiss subsidiary. The data was stolen by a computer expert who worked for HSBC’s Geneva office in 2007.

The publication’s latest disclosures showed Gulliver as the beneficial owner of Panama-registered Worcester Equities, which in 2007 had a balance of $7.6 million.

The body of Ozgecan Aslan, 20, was found burned in a river creek in the southern Turkish city of Mersin on February 13.

The psychology student was travelling home on a minibus when she was stabbed and beaten with an iron bar, after allegedly using a pepper spray to fight off a man who was trying to rape her, local media reports said.

Jordan Andrew Kearney, 23, had been indicted on a third-degree felony charge because of a previous conviction of misdemeanor family violence assault.

According to prosecutors, Kearney and his girlfriend checked into a hotel on May 29, 2014. At one point, he got angry with her and burned her with a cigarette, prosecutors say. He then locked the door and refused to let her leave the room. So the girlfriend went to take a bath. But the argument continued. Kearney dragged her out of the tub and hit and kicked her until she could no longer move, prosecutors say. Then, as she lay there, Kearney urinated on her.

Routh, 27, is accused of killing former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle and Kyle’s best friend, Chad Littlefield, in February 2013 at an Erath County gun range. He confessed to the slayings but pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.

Routh’s ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Weed, testified Wednesday that Routh would become enraged over minor incidents. She described a time when he dropped his beer and reacted by throwing his shoe across the room.

But despite that behavior, Weed said she remained protective of Routh, even after he was arrested in connection with the killings.

Dallas – A housekeeper in an upscale, posh North Texas community of Colleyville just north of Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport was doing her usual duties at a home when, according to police, a father and son duo from Houston, 250 miles south of the Dallas area, drove to the same Colleyville neighborhood, after a $1 million insurance policy was randomly taken out on the housekeeper, secretly stalked her to learn her routine habits, then assassinated her by stabbing her multiple times and inflicting severe trauma to her body. In an ironic twist, the father, Gerard Gorman, died of natural causes, while the son, Bernard, fled to Florida before getting arrested February 17, 2015. The insurance agent might be under a cloud of suspicion, and state and federal law enforcement officials are investigating if others were involved.

A Missouri family plotted to have a six-year-old boy kidnapped to teach him a lesson about strangers because he was “too nice” to people, officials said Thursday.

The Lincoln County, Mo. Sheriff’s Office learned of a kidnapping in Troy, Mo. on Feb. 4.

Investigators learned that the plot was made before Feb. 2 when 38-year-old Denise Kroutil approached 23-year-old co-worker Nathan Firoved about the kidnapping plan. She allegedly asked him to kidnap her nephew to “scare” him. The victim’s mother, 25-year-old Elizabeth Hupp, and grandmother, 58-year-old Rose Brewer, agreed with the plan to teach the boy a lesson.

Firoved, Brewer and Koutil were charged with kidnapping, felonious restraint, and abuse/neglect of a child. Hupp was charged with kidnapping and abuse/neglect of a child.

Authorities said Firoved parked his pickup truck by the boy’s bus stop and waited for him to be dropped off after school. He then lured the six-year-old into his truck and drove off.

DALLAS — A private tennis coach in University Park is out on bond, arrested after a former student claimed he molested her.Stoyan Anastassov, 39, is being accused of touching the victim inappropriately at his apartment when she was 12 in 2010 and again when she was 13 in 2011.

According to an affidavit, the girl says Anastassov told her “the things I’d do to you if I wasn’t afraid of going to jail and getting raped.”
